I LOVE AND MISS CAMP

I LOVE CAMP!! it was incredibly fun! how i wish we could all go back to pasir ris park and enjoy camp once again. (:

the 3days 2nights "out in the wild" was beyond words and beyond value. i carry the memories always.((:

day 1
we played games like pouring water into a cup and balloon thing and minesweeper thing. all required lots of teamwork! then after that we went dragonboating. it was ultra fun and full of saltwater. ek. i dont regret jumping in the water! ((: cos at first i was scared cos the currents were strong and i didnt trust the life jacket. but i still did and it was so cool! haha. then we learnt the banana song. ;)

i lost my water bottle, sadly. but ive gotten over it.

so we went back and had lunch. pitched tents. played amazing race. zaid was our leader. we bullied him quite a bit. LOL. but he as extremely accomodating and gave in, giving us ALOT of hints and clues. bathed. thankfully we were the first class so there was no need to fight for cubicles. onyl had 5 minutes to bathe tho and i did it! even tho normally i take 20. haha. had dinner- it was chicken with rice. then we practised our song-dance. its so RETRO. :D that was about it. a bunch of us gathered in the tent charmaine alyssa jessica and i shared and talked abit about some movies that were pretty freaky. then slept. it was so cold. brrr..

day 2
ropes course! i completed the intermediate, but couldnt climb on the rockwall for the team part. )): sad la. that was my only regret i think. but the instructors were all very encouraging! then we proceeded to the low elements which had giant finger spider web and the swinging one. was quite boring but needed cooperation! teamwork is key! (:

dinner, CAMPFIRE! it was terrific-ly cool! the stars in the sky were so beautiful! i saw an orion. sorry about this: the 2nd one was only 3 stars across, not an orion. ;)

gala night. i kind of messed up my dance steps but HECK. the whole performance was simply nice. (: 3/2 did very well! and it was fun just having fun in front of the glowing fire. and then came the sad reflection part. the singing, dancing. it was lovely- the performance the instructors put up for us. i love every part of the campfire. a few of the pictures were comical, and the presentation was really heartwarming.

day 3
breakfast was a healthy nasi lemak. woke up late today. there was a lizard in the toilet cubicle that nobody wanted to use. a few of us used it. it was quite dead. haha. the gecko was quite cool about us using the toilet i guess.

we had team relay circuit which was HOHO. super fun! they were difficult and needed alot alot of encouragement and cooperation. i learned alot of new things during that relay, like pouring water from head to head and jumping with coordination. TOO FUN. there was i presume a exhilarating feelng within all our hearts as 3/2 finished 2nd! we clapped alot- the guniang, macho, whatever claps. haha.

we had a bit of time to take photos and talk to our instructors then we had to leave. already! i couldnt bear to go. it was a bittersweet affair leaving- glad to leave with the newly-learnt skills and experience, but bitter because the campsite would be missed alot, as well as the times all of sec 3/2 shared, the unity and bonds we formed, and all the instructors and the wonderful experience will be remembered for life. it was such an exciting and priceless experience. im still loving it! ((:
